What to know before you go

    • Mae Fah Luang Art and Cultural Park was established to preserve local craftsmanship and history under the patronage of the Princess Mother. The grounds feature authentic, centuries-old Lanna-style teak buildings rescued from various parts of the region to be restored in this lush setting.
    • The main highlight is the Haw Kham, a majestic golden pavilion built from teak wood salvaged from 32 old houses. Walking through this structure reveals the exquisite detail of northern architecture while surrounded by a tranquil, bird-filled forest.
