- Ngoc Son Temple sits on Jade Island in the middle of Hoan Kiem Lake and is reached by crossing the famous red-painted Huc Bridge. The temple is dedicated primarily to the military hero Tran Hung Dao.
- For solo travelers, this is one of the easiest Hanoi sights to visit independently because it is centrally located, low-cost, and simple to explore without a guide. Early morning visits are best for quieter paths and fewer crowds.
