What to know before you go

    • Phu Quoc National Park was established to protect the island's tropical rainforest and biodiversity. It forms a major part of Phu Quoc's UNESCO Biosphere Reserve area and covers more than half the island.
    • The park is best known for jungle trekking, birdwatching, and access to natural spots like streams and forested hills. Over 150 bird species and rare mammals have been recorded here.
    • Trails can be muddy after rain, so solo travelers should use a reliable offline map, carry water, and avoid isolated routes late in the day.
