    • Son Doong Cave is operated by Oxalis Adventure, the only company authorized to run the official expedition. The standard Son Doong expedition is a 6-day, level 6 hard adventure with a maximum of 10 guests per tour, and it runs only during the dry season from January to August.
    • The expedition includes jungle trekking, river crossings, cave camping, rope-assisted climbs, and a 90-meter ascent of the Great Wall of Vietnam. Solo travelers should book early, prepare for a physically demanding trip, and bring comprehensive travel insurance because the tour has strict cancellation and fitness policies.
